VILLA MIGNON
Monaco - 1 Rue Suffren Reymond - 6 floors - 1890
At 1 Rue Suffren Reymond, Villa Mignon has formed part of La Condamine’s residential heritage since the Belle Époque. Built in 1890, the property stands out for its warm orange-toned façade, which contrasts with the more understated colours of the surrounding buildings. Its relatively contained scale gives it a distinctive presence within a neighbourhood shaped today by buildings from very different periods.
Villa Mignon also has a history that extends beyond its residential role. In 1923, the ground floor of the building housed the headquarters of the Automobile Club de Monaco, before the organisation moved to Rue Grimaldi a few years later. Professional activities are still present at the address today, continuing a mixed use that has been part of the building’s history.
Close to Port Hercule and the historic streets of La Condamine, Villa Mignon offers a different perspective on Monaco’s real estate heritage: a late-19th-century building whose architecture has accompanied the neighbourhood’s transformation while retaining its own identity.En savoir plus
