Fontvieille, a residential district built on the sea

The construction of the Fontvieille district dates back to 1966 when the Principality decided to gain land on the sea. It gathers most of the Principality's industries and can be known mainly for its business aspect. Previously forgotten by tourists, Fontvieille has been able to show its many assets, including its marina which can accommodate more than 275 boats.

Fontvieille is a district in the west of Monaco and is located between the Monaco marina and the French town of Cap d'Ail. It is also home to the Monaco Heliport, where you can take a helicopter to your most beautiful destinations, as well as the International University of Monaco.
