La rousse

“Small but sturdy”

La Rousse district is one of the seven ordered districts of Monaco with its own urban planning regulations. Also named Saint Roman, former designation, La Rousse holds its position in the territory of Monaco. With only 8% of surface area, this residential sector is very much appreciated and takes its name from the Vallon de La Rousse.

From the center of Monaco, you’ll find the area going through the Boulevard des Moulins. It is located on the North-west of the principality and you can access it easily through Beausoleil or even Roquebrune Cap Martin towns.

Although La Rousse is one of the smallest districts in Monaco, it is also the most built in terms of total constructed area.

One estimates that more than 350 000 m2 is constructed in La Rousse, more than twice its ground surface. That's far more than the other areas in the Principality.

The square meter price is perhaps the most “accessible” which also explains why the area attracts so many.

From the side of “l’Annonciade”, the combination of the ancient and modern styles is very visible.

We can’t talk about the area of La Rousse without talking about the exceptional Odéon tower. This majestic glass and marble tower is without a doubt the most expensive of the Principality. In 2015, this tremendous project gave shape to 60 luxury apartments, two duplex apartments, and one penthouse.

Constructed right in front of the sea, the Odéon tower offers high-level services with concierge facilities, valet parking, and a luxury spa. But it’s without a doubt that the penthouse is the key unit with a 360 degrees view and its private rooftop swimming pool.

Slightly on the outskirts of Monaco, you can easily access the other areas to do your errands. Therefore, La Rousse is the quiet residential area with the dynamic real estate market that you are looking for.
