VILLA DU PARC
Monaco - 49 Rue Plati - 6 floors - 1924
Built in 1924 by architect Philippe Gamba, Villa du Parc stands at 49 Rue Plati in Monaco’s Jardin Exotique district. Rising approximately 21 metres, with six levels above the ground floor, this late Belle Époque residence reflects a shift in Monaco’s residential architecture: behind the name of a villa lies a substantial urban apartment building.
Villa du Parc belongs to a generation of buildings that accompanied the development of Monaco’s upper districts in the early 20th century. Its profile forms part of the architectural fabric of Rue Plati, where historic residences and more recent constructions now stand alongside one another.
Still dedicated to residential use, the building retains an identity shaped by its architecture and its hillside setting. Its address also places it close to the green spaces, public facilities and vertical connections that structure the Jardin Exotique district.En savoir plus
