VILLA BELLEVUE
Monaco - 49 Rue Grimaldi - 8 floors - 1856
- Lift
Villa Bellevue holds a distinctive place in Monaco’s architectural and urban history. Built in the mid-19th century at 49 Rue Grimaldi, in La Condamine, the eight-storey residence is closely connected to the early development of gaming in the Principality. In 1856, its premises welcomed Monaco’s first gaming establishment, before the activity was later transferred towards the Rock and then Monte-Carlo.
Today, Villa Bellevue is a residential address in the heart of La Condamine, close to Port Hercule and the shops along Rue Grimaldi. Its location places residents within one of Monaco’s established neighbourhoods, while the building itself retains a connection to a formative chapter in the Principality’s history. The residence features a lift, while parking spaces are available with some apartments.
Villa Bellevue stands out not simply for its central location, but for the story attached to the building itself. Before becoming a residential property in Monaco, it played a role in the beginnings of an activity that would later contribute to Monte-Carlo’s international reputation.En savoir plus
