VILLA ALEXANDRE

Villa Alexandre stands out for the unusual history of its interiors. Located at 59 Boulevard du Jardin Exotique, the residence underwent a major transformation at the turn of the millennium, followed by an interior design project created by Nanda Vigo and Annibale Oste in 2000 for three floors of the building. Handrails, balustrades and decorative pieces were specifically designed for the property, bringing an artistic dimension to its circulation areas.

The project went beyond a conventional refurbishment. Several pieces originally created for Villa Alexandre, including wall lights, metal tiebacks and other decorative elements, are still documented today through specialist design archives and auction records, retaining their provenance from the Monaco residence. Some were produced in Naples and Milan between 1999 and 2000.

Set across five floors, Villa Alexandre therefore has an identity shaped as much by its residential setting as by the history of its interiors. Its presence in Monaco’s Jardin Exotique is marked by a rare connection between residential architecture and contemporary design, giving the address a story that extends well beyond its function as a home.
