At 7 Avenue Princesse Alice, Sun Tower reflects a defining stage in Monte-Carlo’s transformation during the 1960s. Designed by architect Louis Rué and completed in 1964, this 22-level tower rises nearly 69 metres and adopts a modernist architectural language characterised by vertical lines and expansive glazed openings. Its silhouette has since become a recognisable landmark of the Carré d’Or.
The building’s height creates far-reaching views that vary according to floor and orientation, encompassing Port Hercule, Casino Square, the Rock of Monaco and the coastline. Some apartments also feature terraces, while the five basement levels accommodate garages and cellars.
Designed around the needs of a high-rise residential building, Sun Tower provides a lift, concierge service, a caretaker and a CCTV system. Its central Monte-Carlo location also places shops, restaurants and the key addresses of the Carré d’Or within easy reach, while the residence itself stands as a testament to Monaco’s architectural development throughout the 20th century.En savoir plus
