PLATI
Monaco - 51 Rue Plati - 6 floors - 1957
Le Plati, at 51 Rue Plati in the Jardin Exotique district, bears the signature of architect Louis Rué and reflects a modernist approach to residential architecture in Monaco. Its façade follows a carefully ordered composition, divided into four sections around two entrances, with projecting oriels framing each end and incorporating the glazing of the staircase.
The building’s access arrangements are part of its architectural identity. Set back from the street, the entrances are reached by walkways designed to bring natural light towards the lower levels. At the rear, the architectural language changes, with terraces extending across five upper levels and an arcade passage shaping the lower section of the façade.
Completed in the late 1950s, this distinctive design gives Le Plati a recognisable architectural presence within the Jardin Exotique.En savoir plus
