LIDO

Monaco - 1 Rue des Lilas - 11 floors - 2026

  • Lift

At 1-3 rue des Lilas, Le Lido represents a new chapter in the evolution of Monte-Carlo’s urban landscape. The present building has replaced two former structures that once stood on the site, Le Lido and Villa Les Hirondelles. Completed in 2026, the new development retains the historic name of the site while embracing a distinctly contemporary architectural approach, shaped by dynamic curves that follow the contours of the plot and interact with the surrounding buildings.

Rising across 11 floors, the development comprises 20 apartments alongside spaces dedicated to professional and commercial activities. The residences have been designed within a particularly dense urban setting: some feature through-layouts and outdoor areas, while solar protection, shared spaces and a landscaped roof contribute to a design focused on occupant comfort and the building’s integration into its surroundings. The project also follows a bioclimatic approach, complemented by carefully considered landscaping.

Three levels of parking complete the development. More than a simple reconstruction, Le Lido has transformed a site once occupied by two separate buildings into a contemporary residential address, where architectural design responds to the density of Monte-Carlo. This transformation gives the site a new identity while preserving the memory of the name historically associated with it.
