VILLA LÉONIE (MONTE-CARLO)
Monaco - 1 Rue Révérend Père Louis Frolla - 4 floors - 1908
Built in 1908 at 1 Rue Révérend Père Louis Frolla, Villa Léonie reflects a period when Monte-Carlo’s urban landscape still featured a distinctive collection of Belle Époque villas and character buildings. Designed by architect César Lancette, this four-storey residence forms part of Monaco’s architectural heritage from the early 20th century.
Its most recognisable feature is the decorative oriel, an architectural detail that gives the façade a distinctive vertical rhythm and illustrates the ornamental approach of the period. The street itself was formerly known as Rue des Orchidées, adding another layer to the history of this discreet Monte-Carlo address.
Today, Villa Léonie remains part of the residential fabric of the neighbourhood, combining its early-20th-century character with a central position close to Monte-Carlo’s shops and services.En savoir plus
