The One Mone Carlo, inaugurated in 2019 by Prince Albert and his family, is a major real estate and urban planning project. It’s much more than a collection of modern buildings: we’re dealing here with an innovative district refreshing the idea of Monegasque luxury where fashion and art of living are obvious. This space, in the immediate vicinity of the Place du Casino, combines high-end residential estates, shopping, gastronomy, cultural and business venues. This ultra-modern facility has 7 fully glazed "transparent" buildings decorated by green columns.
The One Monte Carlo is very versatile. There are 37 apartments, 24 luxury boutiques and 9 office floors. One of the buildings is a large conference and events center and it also hosts a permanent art gallery. It’s a melting pot offering its residents, workers and passers-by a magical experience of life in the Principality. Entering this district gives a fairly faithful experience of the 21st century Monaco life. Nature is not left out but coexists harmoniously with solar buildings that are both modern and self-sufficient.
These 60,000 sq.mt of surface were thought out and designed by the Stirk Harbor firm and the Monegasque architect Alexandre Giraldi, the designer of the Tour Odéon. The One Monte Carlo complex was built in 10 years for a whopping €600 million, a pharaonic cost even on a Monegasque scale. The project, centered around sustainable development, includes a fully pedestrian outdoor area which brings a breath of fresh air in the heart of the city.
Finally, there’s a little extra for gourmets: the starred chef Marcel Ravin and his concept restaurant will be happy to welcome you and to combine visual wonder and taste. At One Monte Carlo, awakening the senses is not an empty promise. This is the best example of the mood (vibes, luxury, we’ll let you choose) of Monaco.
